On Accuracy and Perfomance Principal Component Synthesis Method

Abstract

In paper a problem of image processing by principal component analysis is considered. New method of – principal components computation, so called method principal component synthesis is proposed. Main idea of new method is to process the image set by parts. The complete solution is obtained by synthesis of partial solutions. Accuracy and performance of the method is demonstrated by the example of image processing from the FERET database.
